Scary re-occuring dream

I keep having a re-occuring dream. I have a gun held to my head with 1 live bullet and 3 blanks. Someone who i can't see is firing the gun, while my boyfriend encourages them. The 3 blanks go off and then the gun goes off again. My boyfriend is upset that I am about to die. Then I wake up. What does it mean?

At first glance a question begs to be asked here... Have you been playing Russian roulette with a certain situation?... It appears that you have already given this situation 3 chances to work (represented by the 3 blanks and the fact that this dream is re-occurring). You are being reminded here that life is precious (represented by the 1 'live' round)... how many chances to you need to give this situation before letting go and moving on? The boyfriend being upset is quite natural. This can represent a part of you... the part that would naturally be upset at the letting go of the situation.

If the situation being dealt with here is your relationship with your boyfriend... then it is time for you to really take a good look at this relationship and ask yourself some important questions...such as; is this relationship what you really want? if so, what can you do different to make it work... as obviously this dream is telling you that what you are doing presently isn't working and a new approach is needed.
