Hi I have not posted here for a while but do check in now and then, Lizzie was very helpful before but I have a weird question but does anyone know if we can stop ourselves from dreaming? I have had some horrible dreams latley and am so tired at work and I have massive bags under my eyes to boot! I am a natural worrier but latley the dreams have got really vivid and when I get up I don't feel as if I have had any sleep. Thanx a very tired Burt. x x x

Hello Burt. What are the dreams about, good dreams are never tyring so i presume lots are negative. Does it seem like you are going around in circles in your dreams or doing very mundane activities. Let us know as the dream world works in several ways. One way they can depict the situation we are in life and then we end up dreaming nothing different if we are in a rut, as we take these thoughts to bed and churn them around our minds all night. The other common type is dreams that tell us whats going to happen to us or friends, the spirit world are trying to guide you through you dreams as this is the only form of communication that you will listen to. If you are taking no notice elsewhere in your life, they will put the point across in as strong a manner as they can to make you wake up and listen. Which can sometimes look more severe than what is truly happening in our lives, but they want us to wake up and remember the dream, so sometimes they go to the extreme to get your attention. Please let us know if this helps and try to let us know the types of dreams you are having. God Bless leon www.thegodlight.co.uk

Hi Burt. I am glad I was able to help you in the past. Lets see if we can do so again, Leon is right, sometimes if you are repeating activities in your dreams it could mean there is something you are trying to learn or be told.
The spirit world has a way of giving you messages in your dreams and if you continue to ignore them they get more vivid but if you are having nightmares, firstly (sounds silly I know!) but check you are not eating too heavily before bedtime, and secondly that you are not drinking caffeine too close to your bedtime - both can be irritants to the mind. Secondly, get into a routine before you go to bed, where you unwind by taking a hot bath, or relaxing in some way, say listening to soothing music, and thirdly dont have the temperature in your room too high, but have some fresh air with an open window.
Now all the practical things are out of the way, if you are worrying about your nightmares, that worry will tend to make you feel worse and increase your anxiety and make your dreams even more vivid. I tell you what, as I suggested before, take a notebook and try to write down your dreams. Its important that you have a note, then come back and post for me or pm me if the dream is of a really private nature, and we will have a go at unravelling what is going on. Some of the circumstances in your life may be responsible for your dreams, as in if you are having a worrying time financially or emotionally. See how you get on and do take care and I will speak more to you soon.
Remember we are always here to chat or unravel any worries. Its important to help each other.
Love and Light
Lizzie xx
