Turtle dream and premoniton.

In my dream I was walking in vibrant green grass and came upon a small turtle with a glowing gold aura around it,the dream was so bright.The next morning I remembered the dream and mentioned it to my hubby and teenage son.I later decided to take a walk with my children along the paths of the nearby woods and marshy area nearby.Along our little trek we came across a turtle the size of a dinner plate.It seemed as though it was leaving the water and heading towards the woods and as we approached it it stopped and remained still until we left it behind.I am familiar with First Nations culture but this dream and premonition baffles myself and others I have mentioned this experience with.Does anyone have an idea of what this could mean?
