I was at a train station. I had the ticket to get on the train. However, each time the train arrived I missed the train. I missed it because I was not paying attention and did not realize the train arrived until it had already departed. This happened several times. Each time I would miss the train, I would have to buy another ticket for the next train. The thing is, the ticket dispensor was so far away from the train departure spot. So I would have to run fast to purchase a ticket and be ready for the next train.
After a few times of missing the train, running to quickly buy the train ticket for the next train, running quickly to the departure spot, just to miss the train again,....I met a guy. He made a deal with me that he would give me something (I don't remember, I think it might have been money), If I gave him my train ticket. So I gave him my train ticket, but he didn't give me what he promissed and he disappeared. So I had to run and buy another ticket again.
This was the final time of me running back and forth between train tickets and the train departure point. This time, while running to the train departure point, I saw the train coming. I started running really fast like I was in a race. In fact, suddenly I had on a runner's uniform with numbers on the front. There were other people running, and I was running so fast that I ran past some of them. Some of them shoved me, bumped into me, even knocked me down, but I kept running. I didn't make it to first place, but as soon as I crossed the finish line I was on the train. I was on the train sitting in my exboyfriend's arms, and we were cuddling.
Does anyone have a clue about what my dream means?

Hi Star, Welcome to the dream board... In dream symbology, vehicles symbolise the energy we have available to us as we move through our lives. A train carries many people in different compartments. This may indicate that that you are surrounded by people in your life who represent different things..i.e. the compartmental aspect of it. Some people often use the expression, 'I missed the boat', indicating that they missed out on an opportunity in life. This analogy could easily be carried over to 'missing the train'. By chasing the train it would indicate that you keep trying to do something important in your life, but somehow you keep missing it. Your determination is there and the energy to run for it is there, but it gets away from you. Now this could be down to there being too many distractions in your life, or there is a drain on your energy. A man in dream symbology is said to embody our ideal male, or he may represent masculine characteristics you aspire to or aspects of traditionally associated male characteristics that you could do with bringing to the fore more in your own personality or psyche. Determination, ambition and a single minded attitude to what you wish to attain. It may be that there is a male in your life, that has 'promised' you something and you have leaned more toward accommodating that person, rather then sticking to your own life path and doing the things that you really want to do. Disappointment, following the realization, that again you delayed doing something for someone or something else and missed another opportunity. Only you know if this is true or not. Does life at times feel as if you are running in a race?? This might indicate that you feel under pressure to accomplish things and through lack of organization, or distractions you are not doing it. The dream seems to have this theme running right through it. Rushing around but not really not getting anywhere. I would say that the dream is saying that you need to 'slow down'. Don't allow others to pressurise you, or push you around. Decide what you want to do and do it, your way.... In the end though you do 'get on the train', this tells me that you do have that determination to see things through and you don't give up easily. When you are on the train, you end up in the arms of your ex boyfriend. Is this where you want to be? Is there unfinished business within this relationship. Emotionally is there still a connection there, and did he make you feel safe? Are you looking for this in your life. Not necessarily, your ex boyfriend, but someone to share your life with, who will make you feel loved and secure?? Only you can answer these questions. I hope this is ok Star, this is only my interpretation of your dream. Please only take from this that which is meaningful and resonates with you and leave the rest... I would appreciate any feedback you can give me on this dream. Love & Light Kaz

your dream of trains may be a metaphor that you are "in training" for some event, job or goal and with you keep missing it only means that there is a open door for the oppertunity and your not paying attention...now is a time to go for your goal. ticket in your dream, signifies the start of a new endeavor. You have decided on your path and goals in life. train ticket symbolizes the price you pay to get ahead in life, being so far away means that it represents something that is unattainable or something that you failed to achieve. giving away your ticket to a man is meaning that you can go after that goal and achieve that goal...but you keep handing it away or letting it pass you by. Running only indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. you are being pressure or feel coerced into doing something that you dont want to do...completion and achievement of your goals. You are ready to set your sights on something higher.
This is a good time to go after what you really want in life and you are not to let anyone stand in your way. Cause what it is that you really want to do. its time to go after it...you will do well in it. Dont talk yourself out of it. You will do well...

Hi. I am excited about this dream. You missed the train, but it was important to you to catch it, so you continued. That shows a lot of resolve and responsibility on your part. It says to me that you will try your best at what you do when you know its important. Its great you did not give up. An obstacle came. A man offered you something more tangible, like money, to distract you. What I am not clear about is why you gave him your ticket. In your dream do you remember feeling like it was a good deal, or that you should do it just because he's asking? Were you doing it because it was a nice thing to do for the man? Please tell me what feeling you had, or what you wanted to accomplish by giving him the ticket. And, were you confident with him before he disappeared? Or did you feel it might happen. I have a feeling it is more that you gave him the ticket because you felt it was what you should do. The experience you had with the man gave you the extra-resolve and means to reach your destination. Nothing stopped you at that moment. You pushed through the next obstacle, the people shoving you, and made it. You learned whatever lesson you needed from the man and moved past others to your place. As far as your ex boyfriend cuddling, perhaps that was a reward for you. I don't know your history but the act of being cuddled would be rewarding. When you woke were you confused about that part? If the ex boyfriend in your dream didn't make sense to you, pass it off as your brain picking a familiar person you have cuddled with before. If your ex is something you know you really want or you think about all the time ( or what you knew you were running to in the dream ), then I would say the dream was just a manifestation of all those feelings. I can't say more until I get more details. Great dream!
