I always interpret others dreams, but I had one the other night, whereby I wanted to demonstrate to you all just how symbolic dreams can be - it was almost meant as an object lesson I think.
I was with my whole family, and we were on our way to Tesco of all places. We stopped off at a large mansion house and there we found that every room had a pitfall or trap in it. In one there was a microwave and it disassembled people and in others there were pits with spikes in them, you get the picture! Anyway, one by one we went into different rooms and were disassembled, until there was only me left and I had to go from room to room and reassemble everyone so we could all carry on our journey and go to do our shopping at Tesco.
I think this is a perfect example of a dream which will have the perfectly mundane function of going shopping to Tesco in it, along with a bizarre symbol, such as people being taken apart in it, blended together in the dream mind so you wake up feeling confused. Lots of people struggle with understanding and interpreting their dreams for just this reason. Let me see if I can break it down a bit for you so you can see the idea and hopefully it may help you to learn a little from your own dreams too...
The whole family being together I dreamed about because I had just had a huge discussion with my family about christmas arrangements and it was very emotional - you could say, in fact, that we were fragmented, or "all over the place" emotionally, hence my dream making this real, and literally taking the family apart. The mansion (as any house in dreams means) is my mind, or my internal self, and the rooms are the parts of my mind, where I keep the relationships with my family....and they were fragmented also, as I was thinking we are apart too much, I go out to work, children to school, and we dont see too much of each other in the normal course of events. Then we have the having to put things back together again.........this is my role in life, I am the breadwinner in the family and it is my task to make sure there is enough food in the house, enough school dinner money, enough cat food, the bills are paid, you get the picture. So my task was to put us all together again.....then continue on to do the shopping at Tesco....this is because I have just receive my Tesco vouchers and I was thinking how can I get to Tesco to spend them?? Perfectly ordinary for my normal wide awake brain to work out.
I hope this has helped. I hope I am able to dispel some of the mystery of dreams. I do want to make dream interpretation accessible to all and then you will all be able to unfold the rich and amazing dream life you each have and learn so much more about your inner workings and the messages spirit is often sending you to keep you on course.
