I had a really neat and good morning, thought Id share it with ya all.
I was working out this morning on the trreadmill and all these thoughts came pouring in. Thoughts of doing all different kinds of nice things for people, thoughts of leaving notes for my kids and husband and long ago friends, family ect.. just doing for others. It just kept flowing and It wouldnt stop.
Then after I was going into a coffee shop and I saw a lady coming a distant behind me. I waited and held the door for her, she looked at me in shock! she said you must not be from around here. I laughed and told her where im from. Funny cause I felt a strong sense of connection to her and felt her goodness. See the people in this area seem to get so caught up in there daily lives to even acknoledge others around them. You get a strange look from others if you say hi or smile at them. So anyway we continued to talk while in line for our coffee. When I went to order my drink she stepped in and payed for it.
This really opened my eyes and thought it was so awesome that just 15 min earlier my mind was going crazy about doing Kind things. I think it told me that I need to be kind to others and its ok that some may think Im strange. That women gave me much more than that cup of coffee!!
