Most of us believe that death is the end, but if one truly comes to think of it, death is not the end; it’s just a bend to transcend. We do not know where we come from or where we will go when we die. Our birth has some relevance, and there is something beyond the end of our life. Maybe we don’t know what exactly that is, but just because of our ignorance, it does not mean that we should conclude that death is the end.
Most religions accept the fact that the energy, prana, chi, sprit, soul, or atman lives beyond the physical death. Physically we die, but that is not true death because we are not this body or the body mind complex. The moment we realize this, we accept the truth that death is not the end. We must contemplate to separate our self from the physical body to realize that life is not as short as we think it is and that there is more in life beyond death. There is something further… but what is that?

Our body is our temple. We live beyond this space, though to me our time here is limited compared to the amount of time that exists in the total span of the universe and beyond our visual cosmos. We are just a spec in this wide universe, of space and time... dimensions beyond us, or never even known to us as the human race... it is endless. Life to us may be a mere blink to some beings that exist, so we must make the best of it. As far as we know, we only have one shot and we better make it count. But within time we have become more and more 'advanced' in the sense that our intelligence is being expanded outwards and we are able to build off of what we already have, or know. Technology being the biggest thing we have, we are living hyper-connected lives, but yet very separating also, since the more we connect over this medium the less we want to as we would have had to ten to twenty years back or even longer. Time is speeding up, or slowing down, depending on how you look at it. The information age is moving us faster than ever before but we are also being more dependent on our systems. How does this tie in to death? I'm getting to that.
If, for say, all of time that ever existed were to have already ended... then we would be merely living life as reflection of the aftermath of it all. I often view it like this, if you can imagine. The best part is it can be altered, and through our free will we can interact with each other and create our lives from the inside, out. Making what we dream, a reality. If all of everything was everywhere all at once, than we could say that it is all said and done. This post may even be "done", in the sense that it is here and it is not going anywhere. Therefore it exists as a mere reflection where anybody could, but giving that everything is information it doesn't matter who sees it or not, since it is merely just that.
When 'leaving the body', which is often times discussed with dreaming and meditation, it can be known that there is more than what meets the eye. We have consciousness beyond that which is physical, that is where such concepts can be thought of and brought into the being to be expressed outwardly, in this case... though a computer and keyboard. I see. That moment in time is just me, typing. I can create, it is a human ability. I know what I say may not make sense but does it have to? I've always wondered on what is beyond, the things which are out there, but at the same time we have a responsibility to this planet and our lives cannot be ignored. In other words, I quite enjoy living! Life is amazing, and if I could I would live it just to see it, to be in it... to experience. That's all it is, really. We're on a trip, and our vessel is the body we were 'born' into... tet, it is not ours'. It belongs to the Earth, it is her property... we cannot take it with us.
As to what is beyond death, I am uncertain. But that is part of the mystery, the wonder, isn't it? To allow what is happening to happen and to let it take you? I mean, I often get those moments of feeling small, like life in general is so... well, almost like a fluke. Like everything just became like this and I was just a part of it, which is kinda cool. But once I get to thinking like that for awhile I have to stop, because I reach the point where there is nothing else. Literally nothing. From nothing becomes something, just as I type this post. Everything is a cycle, so we die and give life to the ground, so we carry on and make our way elsewhere, where anything is possible.

The concept of reincarnation doesn't set too well in the Western world and seemingly never did. But we can't go back and actually ask the others what they believed in back then. There are passages in the Bible - quotes of questions asked - that indicate people back then would not be surprised if a prophet come back. We really don't know that much about our own ancient history. Just reading the daily newspapers today and assuming that is what will be used to create our history books tomorrow makes me shudder.
The Rosicrucians don't even use the term death around each other. Transition is the much preferred word. To us death is just the grand initiation but of course there are many initiations even as reaching each degree suggests a suitable celebration or initiation upon reaching it.
The degrees are numbered from the beginning which is where the initiate starts out. If there was an ending or limit then the numbering scheme would make more sense if it were the opposite i.e. you have X number of steps to go and one less step after you complete the one you are on.
That also begs the question of when does this all come to an end? When we die and go to Heaven? And get to meet G*d face to face? "It is suggested" it isn't that simple. Indeed the Quest has never been reached for anybody as of yet. Maybe if we were told that in the beginning we would think it impossible and not even try. Or why get into a bother when the goal right before us? Just sit out your life as best you can and all too soon you instantly transform into an angel and sprout wings and don halo and live ( or die ) happily aver after.
G*d loves us and wants us to be around Him forever. But I guess we don't really believe that enough to take it literally. Or accept how utterly impossible it would be to to become a suitable companion for G*d in a few lousy years of any one mortal life ...

I like to think that it is all a continuous cycle. Things are very simple in my mind, so love is love and forever means forever... even if I don't understand it, I don't need to. I can just accept it as it is and continue on my way. Nothing truly ends.

I am programming myself to recognize the color MINT GREEN as a sort of trigger to myself in the future to try and remember why that would be so. I am not sure why already. Concepts get lost over time or get very confused. But I do recall a longing or curiosity. Because something did happen. I do wonder where it came from ...
