I was a bit hesitant about posting this dream. But in conversations in chat, it was brought to my attention that even dreams that we see as very straight-forward can have multiple layers. I'd appreciate any interpretation or insight.
I'm walking down the street with a man that;s alluded to in many of my dreams, but I almost never see his face. The last time I had a dream about this person where their face was shown was about 2 years ago. In the dream, we're walking in a place that looks like my old neighborhood and we pass beneath a billboard. We pass through a school that I guess is my old junior high school, but it looks very different. I see girls I used to go to junior high school with, but I don't think they see us. It's very a peaceful walk .
Then, I hear a song playing in the background but I've never heard of it before (1970's?). I'm not sure if the song actually exists. I see an image on a tv screen of a group that resembles the 5th Dimension, but I don't think its them necessarily. After our walk, we end up in an apartment (Im guessing its mine), we relaxed and he talked a little about girls he used to know (?). Out of no where my sister would barge in the room and start cracking jokes and I would laugh and then ask her to leave (lol).
In the dream, there was a tv show in the background. It seemed like a British tv show but it was about Denmark in the middle ages. In the show there were a group of men dressed in drab clothing that I think was common for the era and eating turkey legs/ chicken legs(??). In the scene, they plotting against a prince, who wasn't shown onscreen.
In the dream, we'd have several conversations on different days and times and somehow I'd always end up falling asleep. It would always be very sudden, I'd get immediately feel very drowsy and fall into an hypnotic-like sleep. When I'd wake up he'd be gone, but he would leave his laptop and another time he would leave cakes.
And this would be the pattern throughout the dream.
Again, I would deeply appreciate any insight into possible meanings and interpretations. Thank you
