I downloaded an app on my smartphone that shows me daily inspirational messages from Buddha. The best thing is that I can email or sms those messages to friends and family but can't share with my friends here 
So here are some of my favourites xxx

Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.
He who loves 50 people has 50 woes; he who loves no one has no woes.
Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.
