An interesting book. Written around the turn of the century, so the style is a bit distracting at times. But the premise is interesting:
Every so often, God sends us messengers (such as Krishna, Osiris, Buddah, Jesus) that are here to give us more information based upon our capacity as a race to understand it.... and we kill them.
He brings up many more than 16, BTW... Some scantily- researched at best... some simple hearsay... but all fascinating to consider... especially the things that many have in common.
I give it 3.5 stars...
