Understanding By Bruce Lee
Post by admin on Mar 31, 2007, 2:08pm
Acceptance denial and conviction prevent understanding.
Let your mind move together with anothers in understanding with sensitivity.
Then, there is a possibility of real communication.
To understand one another, there must be a state of choiceless awareness where there is no sense of comparison or condemnation, no waiting for a further development of discusion in order to agree or disagree.
Above all don't start from a conclusion.
By Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee was a master of martial arts and a philosopical speaker, any man that can master an art is worth listening to. God Bless his soul.

Bruce Lee was a man of extreme sensitivity, intelligence and foresight far beyond his time. He practiced a martial art that commanded a strong mind as well as a strong body. In fact he always said, that it all begins, up here..tapping his head, in the mind. With this, you can do anything, be anything.
Having an open mind is so important, any strong preconceptions, or rigid ideals, will prevent someone from being open to new concepts and new idea's. How often do we judge someone, be it by their appearance or the position in life they hold, before they have even opened their mouth's. I try and live a very open and judgmental free life, but even I have been guilty of this at one time or another. Have been proved wrong, and have felt ashamed. It is a very valuable lesson though.
My Mum's favorite saying was, if you do not agree with someone's opinion, always, Agree, to Disagree..lol I think it was very good advice. Just because, it is something we don't believe in, I would never condemn someone else for thinking differently from me, who says I'm right..or that they are for that matter, its all about love and tolerance.
Ha, don't start from a conclusion, yes, how many of us have already made our minds up before we have given the other person the opportunity to put their point of view across?
Yes Leon, Bruce Lee was a very wise man.
